Be a part of music history when 15 of the finest young classical guitarists from around the globe converge on Pepperdine’s beautiful Malibu campus for the world’s preeminent guitar competition from Wednesday, May 30, through Saturday, June 2, 2012, with $65,000 in cash awards at stake. The thrilling final round on Saturday, June 2, 2012, will be the high point of the contest; this edge-of-your-seat concert will feature the three finalists performing concertos with live orchestra and vying for the top cash awards as well as Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, which will be awarded after the concert following the judges’ deliberation.
