Pepperdine University Center for the Arts is available to rent for performances, meetings, or special events. With 450 seats and just 15 rows, Smothers Theatre is an ideal space for dance, music, or theatre performances, or for lectures or meetings. In addition to our state-of-the-art theatres, we offer technical services, ticketing services, and audience services to meet your needs and the needs of your guests. Our beautiful oceanside facilities are just 25 scenic minutes from the Westside or Valley areas.

Malibu Civic Ballet presents
THE NUTCRACKER
A Malibu holiday tradition for two decades, the Malibu Civic Ballet’s The Nutcracker is performed by almost 100 Malibu residents and guest professional dancers. This year, The Nutcracker features Melissa Sandvig, a finalist from Season 5 of the hit show So You Think You Can Dance.

"Homeward Bound" is a live musical performance paying tribute to the timeless music of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, reunited in this "Old Friends Live" homage to Simon and Garfunkel's groundbreaking 2003 reunion concert at Madison Square Garden. This dynamic musical duo transports audiences on a musical journey through the history of Simon and Garfunkel, with songs from their 50-year career and even some singalongs to popular favorites.
