With his brilliant technique and charismatic flair, German-born Johannes Moser is one of the most compelling cellists of his generation. He gained international attention in 2002 when he won the 12th Tchaikovsky Competition and since has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and conductors, including the Chicago Symphony with Boulez, the New York Philharmonic with Maazel, and the London Symphony with Gergiev.
