Pepperdine Chamber Choir:
Ryan Board, Director
Pre-European Tour Concert
This concert will feature Pepperdine's top-tier auditioned choir in a performance of stunning, mostly a cappella sacred music. Come hear exquisite choral music specifically chosen for the Chamber Choir's performances this summer on its tour to Switzerland and the Czech Republic. With the church spaces of Europe in mind, Dr. Board chose literature especially suited for the reverberant, expansive acoustics of the venues in which the Chamber Choir will perform this July. Featured composers include T. L. Victoria, Duruflé, Parry, Brahms, and Rheinberger, as well as exciting newer works composed by César Carrillo, György Orbán, Karel Husa, and Paul Mealor.Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 7:30 PM • FreeStauffer Chapel(Please note: This concert was originally scheduled for Thursday, March 27.)
