Mozart’s The Magic Flute has delighted audiences for centuries. Set in a mysterious foreign land, this whimsical fairy tale features larger-than-life characters. The young prince Tamino arrives as if in a dream. He learns of a beautiful princess held captive in a fortress by an unnamed evil. Tamino sets forth to rescue the maiden, accompanied by his new companion—the bird-man Papageno. But very little in this land is quite as it seems.

Lyrics in German with English supertitles. Dialogue in English.
