Music Faculty Recital

Saturday, March 14, 2026 • 7:30 PM

The inaugural Faculty Recital Series concludes with a wide-ranging concert featuring soprano Natalie Buickians and pianist Barry Tan, with cellist Javier Iglesias-Martìn. This program traces a rich artistic arc across German, French, Nordic, and Russian song traditions, with works by Strauss, Brahms, Fauré, Debussy, Sibelius, and Rachmaninoff. The evening culminates in a collaborative chamber set for soprano, cello, and piano, featuring music by Massenet and Previn, and a major contemporary work, Love, Loss, and Exile (2022) by Juhi Bansal. This final concert celebrates faculty artistry, collaboration, and the expressive breadth of vocal chamber music.
