Hare and Tortoise

Produced by Tutti Frutti Productions

Saturday, February 28, 2026 • 11 AM and 1 PM

Join two unlikely friends in this delightful retelling of Aesop’s classic fable. As Hare impatiently urges the race forward, Tortoise takes their time—moving through the seasons with care and curiosity. Winner of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Play (Children & Young People). With whimsical characters, live music, and playful physicality, Hare and Tortoise is a heartwarming tale of opposites, patience, and the power of friendship.

Join us before and after the show for special Family Art Day activities!

From 10 AM–1 PM, join us at Family Art Day to make natural Tie-Dye Bandanas with local artist Anne-Marie Judd. The Way We Live Studio is devoted to handcrafting wearable art using locally gathered botanical and natural dyes. Each piece is unique and honors the raw beauty of nature while capturing the essence of craft and community. Come learn how to make your own unique tie-dye designs with @TheWayWeLiveToday and take home your own wearable work of natural art!

From 12–3 PM, Hokey Pokey LA will be offering complimentary New Zealand style soft serve. While supplies last!
