INSPIRE: Finding Purpose

This year's theme at Pepperdine is Purpose, and this special Inspire Malibu event, titled "Following the River," invites us to reflect on how times of transition and change, even unexpected loss, can lead us into new meaning and purpose at any age or stage of life. Together, we will explore through story, sharing, and song, how sudden changes of direction can be met with trust, hope, and a sense of anticipation for where The Spirit might be leading us. 

Darin and Sheri Adams will lead the evening, sharing encouragement from their 32-year journey in marriage, family, faith, friendship, and performing arts. We are thrilled to welcome Ken Medema, one of the most gifted improvisational musicians of our time. Known for creating songs on the spot from audience stories, Ken will bring an unforgettable dimension of creativity and connection. Those who feel inspired may have a chance to share their own stories - which will become the heart of an improvised song, woven live into the evening by Ken.  

This event is Free and Open to All. Bring a friend or anyone who might need an afternoon of meaning, purpose and hope.  This is our final event during WAVES WEEKEND for parents and alumni.
