The Importance of Being Earnest

presented by Pepperdine Theatre Department

Tuesday, September 20–Saturday, September 24

By Oscar Wilde
Bradley Griffin, Director

This classic English comedy from the late 19th century involves mistaken identity, dramatic revelations, and high anxiety hijinks in the idyllic English countryside. Playwright Oscar Wilde described his masterpiece as "a trivial comedy for serious people." If cucumber sandwiches and misplaced handbags get your heart racing, then this is the play for you!

No late seating allowed. Join a talk back with the actors and director after the Wednesday, September 21 performance.
