Cirque Mechanics
We have presented this company a couple of times over the years, and can't wait to present them again. They are a group of incredibly talented acrobatics and artists from Las Vegas. While attending the Western Arts Alliance conference a couple of years ago I had a chance to tour their studios (I have a very cool job!).
Cirque FLIP Fabrique
This is another delightful acrobatic company, based in Canada. Their show Blizzard was sweet and stunning. Their death-defying stunts make you gasp in wonder. Full length Cirque FLIP Fabrique performances are available on their website.
TAIKOPROJECT
This taiko group has a uniquely American sensibility, combining a traditional Japanese art form with modern roots in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of Los Angeles. Their performances are beautiful, and their educational activities are top notch. You can see some of their online work here.
The Martial Artists and Acrobats of Tianjin
There are many Chinese Acrobats troupes out there, but this company is the real deal. Their performances are stunning and breathtaking. You can see some highlights of their work here.
