About Evelyn Nguyen

Evelyn Nguyen, 16, is from Monrovia, California, and has been playing guitar for more than nine years as a student of Felix Bullock at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. Nguyen attends the California School of the Arts, and is a five-year member of the Los Angeles Guitar Orchestra, with which she toured the West Coast in 2017 and Europe in 2018. She has received awards such as the 2018 Director's Award for California School of the Arts Instrumental Music, and has placed in many competitions, including 1st place at the Pacific Guitar Festival 2018 in junior division and division III, and 3rd place at the 2018 Gohar and Ovanes Andriassian Classical Guitar Competition.
