Hues of Isolation
April 21–28, 2021
In-Person Exhibition
The Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts is proud to present the student-lead Frederick R. Weisman Museum exhibition Hues of Isolation. Hues of Isolation will feature works by the 2021 senior studio class, who are graduating from Pepperdine's Seaver College with BA degrees in studio art.
This group of artists is working through the various challenges that an online world has presented. They have been wrestling with the idea of what it means to be alone. The exhibition will feature a rich diversity of media, including animation, painting, sculpture, and video that explore a wide variety of issues including feminism, inclusivity, and identity.
This exhibition features in-person entry dates on Wednesday, April 21, Friday, April 23, Saturday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 28. In-person entry is limited to those individuals who live on campus, or are otherwise already on campus for an authorized purpose. Use the registration link to reserve timed entry tickets to view the exhibition.
The artwork from this exhibition will be available to view online beginning Thursday, May 6, 2021. Please visit the Studio Art website for more details.
