About Hui Chan Yun

Hui Chan Yun, 16, is from Seoul, South Korea, and started playing guitar in the fifth grade. He received guitar instruction from Seungwon Jeong at classical guitar music school, and entered Yewon Art Middle School as a classical guitar major. He is currently studying with professional guitarist Sung Jin Kim. Yn participated in the Kumho Prodigy Concert series in 2017, and in 2018 he entered Seoul Art High School majoring in classical guitar. He hopes to one day be an adult competitor in the Parkening International Guitar Competition.
